A deliberate pause before save
Joyabuy Spreadsheet Checklist Before Saving a Find
Seven checks turn an attractive row into an explained candidate—or remove it before it creates another dead-end tab.
Seven-point checklist
Tick the boxes while you review. Nothing is submitted or stored.
Score your row
The score sorts attention; it is not a quality rating or safety guarantee. Decide one non-negotiable requirement before scoring. Missing that requirement can outweigh several checked boxes.
QC photos by category
QC photos are useful when they answer a product-specific question. A large gallery can still be unhelpful when the one view you need is missing.
- Shoes and sneakers: both side profiles, toe, heel, sole, size label, and a measurement when fit matters.
- Clothing: front, back, fabric, seams, cuffs or closures, label, and garment measurements.
- Bags: exterior, interior, base, closure, strap range, dimensions, and a clear sense of scale.
- Watches and jewelry: close detail, dimensions, side profile, clasp or fastening, and surface finish.
- Electronics: exact model, ports, plug or voltage, included pieces, visible condition, and compatibility information.
Do not count images. Ask whether the needed view is present and clear enough to use.
Good row example
A jacket row identifies the category, includes front and back views, lining and zip close-ups, a measurement table tied to the available sizes, a relevant source page, and a weight note. It still needs comparison, but it gives you concrete evidence.
Weak row example
A row uses a vague popularity claim, shows one cropped image, omits measurements, and opens a destination that does not clearly match the item. A low-looking product price cannot repair those gaps.
One-sentence save rule
Save a row only when you can name the visible detail that makes it worth comparing again.
Good notes are specific: “measurement table matches my requirement,” “interior and closure are visible,” or “source page matches the pictured option.”
What to do next
Remove the lowest-scoring rows. Put the remaining candidates inside one category, compare the same checks, then read the shipping weight guide and buyer safety notes. When two rows remain close, choose the one that answers your non-negotiable question more clearly.
